1. Action Items & New Business

a. Need for new co-chair

i. Either select a new co-chair to focus on Social Action issues or rotate that responsibility, and choose a co-chair to facilitate the March meeting.

ii. Three important tasks for the Social Action Committee co-chairs

1. Prepare an agenda for our monthly meeting.

2. Facilitate the discussion at that meeting.

3. Document Results (can be delegated).

a. Summarize our discussions & plans (minutes)

b. Distribute them among committee members (e-mail to members)

c. Send monthly announcement to the newsletter (e-mail to Linda)

iii. Who will take this on – permanently or at least for next month.

b. Ombudsman Program

i. When should we invite Jeff Parker to describe this program to interested Social Action committee members and other interested members of the congregation?

c. This month’s delivery of food bank contributions

i. Where should donations be donated?

ii. Who will take donations to chosen place?
