Ron Patterson of the Oneida Nation, Wolf Clan, will share with us the Oneida heritage and some of its important beliefs and traditions focusing on preservation for the seventh generation. Also joining us will be Chris Thomas, a Haudenosaunee singer. He will sing and talk about Oneida social songs.

Ron Patterson currently manages the Shakowi Cultural Center on the ancestral Oneida Nation lands in Oneida NY. He continues to promote the traditional arts of the Indigenous people. He attended MVCC and SUNY Institute of Technology. Ron is a member of the Oneida Nation, Wolf Clan.
